About the Caregivers in the Hills Program
The Caregivers in the Hills program is a FREE program established by Hills of Headwaters Collaborative Ontario Health Team and its Community Wellness Council to support unpaid caregivers as a critical part of their loved one’s or someone they care about health and social care team.
Caregivers in the Hills identifies unpaid caregivers in Dufferin County and Caledon by providing identification badges for all members of the program. In addition, members can take enjoy exclusive discounts and benefits from participating businesses in Dufferin/Caledon when the badge is presented.
Caregivers in the Hills is a grassroots program, focusing on a “bottom up” approach to change our local health and social care system. The program aims to empower caregivers to be a voice for change and participate in informing the improvement of the local care system.
