Honouring the National Healing Forest Initiative
Creating a network of forests and green spaces across Canada where Indigenous and non-Indigenous people come together in healing and connection with the land.

Activities:

• Finding, cleaning, and gathering garbage and debris on the land
• Fireside chat
• Drum songs
• Community feast

What to Bring:

• Garden gloves
• Colourful clothing (hi-vis shirt/vest if available) and comfortable outdoor shoes
• A dish to share for the community feast
• Litter picker tool (or garbage grabber) & a drum (if you have one)
